Vince Vandehaar, MBA
Principal Consultant

Vince started his boutique consulting firm (VVV Consultants LLC) on 1/1/2009, after working for Saint Luke’s Health System of Kansas City for 16 years; Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC for 2 years and Tillinghast Tower’s Perrin Actuarial Consulting for 2 ½ years. . (Note: Vince was recruited to Kansas City in 1988 after working for Lutheran Mutual Life HQ (Waverly IA) for 10 years.)  While with Saint Luke’s Hospital of KC -Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in March of 2003, Vince was co-led for Cat 2 – Planning and Cat 3 -Voice of Customer.

Specifically, Vince facilitates strategic planning, creates proven business/marketing plan tactics & measures, facilitates/creates IRS-aligned Community Health Needs Assessments, conducts both qualitative & quantitative development research, and coaches new CEOs to lead.

Vince teaches undergraduate, MBA, MHA marketing & health classes 15% of his time (since 1988) at Avila and/or Webster University and consults the remainder. Vince is a Malcolm Baldrige coach, a professional moderator, and actively involved in the national Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), KAHCC, MAHPRM, KC Employee Benefit Professional Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Marketing Association KC Chapter (SIG Healthcare Co-chair) and an SG2 advocate.

Vince is a farm kid from Bondurant, Iowa, married, and resides in Olathe, KS. Vince graduated from Central College Pella, IA with a BA (1978) in Business Management and has his MBA (1988) from the University of Northern Iowa. During off time, Vince enjoys Chiefs Football, Royal Baseball, Saturday morning pick-up basketball at age 69+, walking, and boogie golf.

Olivia Hewitt, BS
Associate Consultant

Olivia is responsible for project fulfillment and management, marketing, market research, and business development. She plays a key role in preparing and executing Town Hall discussions, provides project management support for Community Health Needs Assessments, Provider Manpower Assessments, and Strategic Planning.

Olivia began her career with VVV Consultants LLC May 2024. Since start, she has effectively assisted town hall discussions and helps develop Community Health Needs Assessment Implementation Plans, ensuring community needs are met and public health outcomes are improved.

Olivia previously served as a Social Media Coordinator. In this role, she managed the organization’s social media accounts, developed, and executed comprehensive social media strategies, composed, and designed the monthly newsletter, and supported concert day preparations and event planning.

Olivia has a BS in Communication from Emporia State University. At Emporia State, Olivia was involved in various clubs and organizations such as Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, Tri Sigma Sorority, and the National Panhellenic Council. She served as a leader on campus and was recognized for awards such as the Newberg Outstanding Senior and the Campus Leader award.

Olivia is from Olathe, Kansas. In her downtime, she enjoys playing pickleball, walking her dogs, and engaging in various outdoor activities. She loves to work out regularly, finding joy in both the physical and mental benefits it brings. Whether she’s lifting weights, running, or practicing yoga, Olivia is always exploring new ways to enhance her well-being and inspires others to do the same.

Cassandra Kahl, BHS MHA
Director, Project Management

Cassandra is responsible for all LLC project engagement (client project management – start to completion), for project fulfillment of consulting deliverables and promoting LLC HC consulting services. 

Cassandra works closely with Principal to deliver quality consulting services to exceed client expectations.  These focus services include in-depth Market Research, Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan development & fulfillment, Physician Manpower FTE Assessments, and IRS-aligned Community Health Needs Assessments / Implementation Plans. Specifically, Cassandra will identify HC development opportunities, examines marketing & operation processes to identify ways to “do things better” and proposes achievable recommendations to meet project goals. 

Cassandra began her career with VVV Consultants LLC November 2020.  For the previous 2 1/2 years, she served as a Lead Certified Pharmacy Technician for CVS. Her responsibilities included: overseeing a team of technicians and working closely with payors and physicians to managed patient profiles & medication dispensing.

Cassandra has a BS in Health Sciences from University of Kansas and her MHA from Park University –  is due to be complete May 2021. Her MHA program has given gratifying insight into Marketing & Consumer Driven Healthcare, Organization of Healthcare Delivery System, Legal & Ethical Issues in Healthcare Administration, and Management of Health Information Systems. Cassandra also completed a summer internship in 2018 with Mayo Clinic’s – Red Cedar Physical Therapy Center Menomonie, WI.

Cassandra is from Maple, Wisconsin. She is also an independent nutrition coach where she actively helps individuals reach their health goals through multiple health change strategies. In her free time, Cassandra loves to travel the world, partake in outdoor activities such as hiking, spending time with her three fur babies, and serve as a mentor to young women in numerous areas of life.
